A distinct product with a rich history
Dorothy Molter’s Isle of Pines Root Beer is as unique to northeastern Minnesota as the Boundary Waters. In fact, its roots originate on Knife Lake in the heart of the BWCAW and on the border of Minnesota and Ontario.
Dorothy’s homemade root beer made her home on the Isle of Pines a destination adventure for thousands of visitors annually. Today, the Dorothy Molter Museum proudly offers the modern version of her home brew – it’s as close as we can get to Dorothy’s original recipe without the pine needles and unfiltered lake water.
If you are a business or organization interested in offering Dorothy’s Isle of Pines Root Beer to your customers or clients, we would love to chat with you!
