Dorothy Day

Sunday, June 23 we will host our annual June open house – please join us! We will celebrate Dorothy’s legacy through stories (guided tours and conversation), sharing (did you meet/know Dorothy?) and refreshments (coffee ‘an of course!), as well as a family activity from 11am-2pm BUT admission is free all day 10am-5pm.

This year’s theme is “Preserving the Legacy” and all donations made this day will go toward the Museum’s Capital Campaign to raise funds for its new new Dorothy’s Cabin Endowment Fund that will address structural repairs and maintenance needed on Dorothy’s cabins.

You’ll be able to see a few of the projects already funded by generous donors, in-kind labor by local businesses and a grant from the Department of Iron Range Resources and Rehabilitation.
