We have a virtual tour available!
Whether you are preparing to visit the Museum (with our online curriculum), would like to have a private, audio tour or just can’t make it to the Museum in person, we now have a virtual tour available!
The Dorothy Molter Museum’s tour can be accessed on a web browser or via a free downloadable app for Android and iPhone. Features of this platform have been optimized for use on mobile devices and can be used during your visit as an alternate tour guide with imagery and an audio option to listen while you explore!
The features of this platform are constantly being improved and expanded. We’ve enabled a virtual “tour” within the Museum page but hope to add more audio and video as time allows.
Clio is an educational website and mobile application that guides the public to thousands of historical and cultural sites throughout the United States. Built by scholars for public benefit, each entry includes a concise summary and useful information about a historical site, museum, monument, landmark, or other site of cultural or historical significance.
Our inability to offer in-person tours at this time is delaying our revenue-generating summer season. If you are able to support the Museum during this time, we would greatly appreciate it, whether it’s a financial contribution or sharing about the Museum on your social channels, it all helps.
