Work at the Museum with us

The Dorothy Molter Museum offers seasonal employment from mid-May through early-September with opportunities for weekend work in the fall and intermittent work with private group appointments.

Seasonal positions are either Visitor Services Representatives or Visitor Services Representative Interns, both have similar duties such as admission and retail sales, hourly guided programs (20minutes) and general customer services. Additional tasks are tailored to each staff member to highlight their unique strengths and/or interest in gaining additional experience or knowledge.

For example, internship projects may include working within the Museum’s PastPerfect collections database, developing children’s programming, researching archives or historic preservation.

Full and part-time positions are available with a typical work day scheduled 9:30am-5:30pm with a paid 30-minute lunch break.
