Annual Fundraising Events

It’s that time of year!

Celebrate over 30 years of Northwoods inspiration at one of our annual fundraising events. The Dorothy Molter Museum is thrilled to be offering its Annual Fundraising Dinner in-person at the Grand Ely Lodge on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. However, you don’t have to attend to have an opportunity to support the Museum and “win” something for yourself!

Annual Online Silent Auction
January 31-February 7

Our online silent auction allows you to support the Museum from anywhere with internet access! You do not need to be present at the in-person event to place bids or be the high bidder on items in this online auction but some items must be picked up in person and are listed as such.

If you are able to attend our in-person dinner on Feb 7, we will have additional items available via live silent auction, raffle buckets and DOOR PRIZES as well as our annual Wenonah Canoe Raffle drawing. All online auction items will be on display at the dinner.

The auction is visible with items being added regularly up until the week of the event – check back often!

Annual Fundraising Dinner
Wednesday, February 7, 5-7:30pm

It’s the Museum’s annual “plaid tie” event! Held at the Grand Ely Lodge in Ely, we’ll have bucket raffles, online silent auction, in-person silent auction, DOOR PRIZES, canoe raffle drawing, dinner and program – not to mention FUN! Plaid clothing encouraged! Prizes for best plaid and most creative plaid.

The meal provided will be a buffet dinner and include two animal proteins, two vegetable sides, salad, bread and dessert. If you have a dietary restriction, please contact us directly a minimum of two weeks prior to the event so we can coordinate appropriate options with the Grand Ely Lodge. A cash bar will be available the entire event.

Member ticket price ($25) covers the Museum’s hard cost of providing a meal with $0 revenue. The non-member ticket price ($32.50) provide a modest revenue that is categorized as a donation. See less

In addition to the online silent auction, we’ll have an in-person “write-in” silent auction, raffle buckets as well as door prizes just for attending!
