We typically hire seasonal staff in March and April each year. However, we welcome inquiries year-round.

Visitor Services Representative

This position can be translated into an Internship

Seasonal, Full/Part-time Hourly, No Benefits, paid 30min lunch break
Starting wage $14.00/hour

Along with other visitor services staff, the Visitor Services Representative acts as the initial visitor contact to the public for admissions, tours and programs, are part of the team responsible for maintaining daily operations. Primary duties revolve around sharing the story of Dorothy Molter through interpretation during daily tour programs, when providing admissions, casual conversations with guests and with group visits. Depending on the hired applicant, collections care, maintenance and other projects may also be included in the duties.

This position generally starts with staff training the third or fourth week of May and concludes approximately the third week of August or later (depending on whether the hired applicant is still enrolled in school or not).
