We need your help to share Dorothy’s story!

As a small, non-profit [501(c)3] organization, the Dorothy Molter Museum relies heavily on the financial, physical and in-kind support of its members, volunteers and surrounding community to fulfill its mission.

Whether it is through sharing a memory or story about Dorothy with others directly or via social media, purchasing a souvenir during your visit to the museum, becoming a member, or actively participating in fundraising events or programs, every little bit counts.

If you are interested in learning more about how you can help, or would like to discuss planned giving, email jess@rootbeerlady.com or follow the links below.

Dorothy’s legacy depends on you to keep it alive. As time passes, visitors like you ensure that her story will not be forgotten. Would you accept a challenge?

We challenge you to try and make one or more of six recipes Dorothy used to make! These recipes are part of a new exhibit in the Winter Cabin called Dorothy’s Kitchen. Each recipe is a step back in time and are dripping with nostalgia. Once you complete a recipe, we ask that you share your experience on social media with the hashtag #CookLikeDorothy and tag the Museum!

As those who knew Dorothy Molter become rarer, it becomes more essential to have a circle of dedicated volunteers and passionate supporters to help us keep her story alive for the next generation of Northwoods stewards.
