UPDATE: A hearty thank you to the donors who helped us reach 100% of our $1,500 fundraising goal on November 16, Give to the Max Day!

We now are able to address the Point Cabin windows this spring! If you would like to help us raise funds to also address the Winter Cabin windows, you can still make a contribution! Gifts may be made online in our store or via postal mail with a note specifying cabin repair work as your focus.

Please join us on November 16, 2017, for Give to the Max Day and help us raise funds to repair/replace windows in the Point Cabin.

The Point Cabin is over 80 years old and the barn sash-style windows are in need of reglazing of all 6 panes of glass on each window, with some windows possibly needing replacement. We have started the detailed process of reglazing but it is a time-consuming project and we have limited staff time.

Volunteers have helped but the time required to complete the project is running short. Would you help us raise money to expedite the process?

Each year, generous supporters like you celebrate Give to the Max Day by making your online donation on GiveMN.org. The generosity shown on this day makes a difference far beyond the 24-hour giving event.

Your donation on Give to the Max Day also may help us receive an additional donation of $1,000. How? On November 16, every gift made on GiveMN.org will be entered into an hourly drawing for a $1,000 GiveMN Golden Ticket to be awarded to a nonprofit organization. Your gift of $10 or more could instantly turn into an extra $1,000!

Here’s the really exciting part: One donation made on GiveMN.org during the Give to the Max campaign will be randomly selected to receive a $10,000 Super-Sized GiveMN Golden Ticket!

The more gifts we generate on GiveMN.org during Give to the Max Day, the more our chances increase to receive that additional $10,000 donation. Imagine what we could do with $10,000! Our goal is to raise $1,500 and you can help us reach it!

Be sure to mark your calendar and make your gift on November 16 by visiting GiveMN.org and searching for our organization.

About Give to the Max Day

Give to the Max Day was created in 2009 to launch GiveMN, a collaborative venture led by Minnesota Community Foundation and many other organizations committed to helping make our state a better place.

That initial spark touched off a blast of online giving — $14 million in 24 hours. Since then, Give to the Max Day has become an annual tradition. Every year thousands of organizations and individuals generate donations and excitement for Minnesota causes that are working to improve the quality of life for all Minnesotans.  Give to the Max Day has become a national model for giving days.
