NO MATTER WHAT HOLIDAY YOU CELEBRATE, WE’D LIKE TO WISH YOU A SAFE AND HAPPY HOLIDAY SEASON AND A PEACEFUL AND PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR!
Looking back on this past year, we have reached goals that would not be attainable without your support. Thank you!
One highlight was welcoming over 6,100 visitors to the Museum this season – the highest on record! We believe this is in great part to our new exhibit Creating the Boundary Waters: 25 Objects, 25 Stories, which is located in the Cady Cabin. We also had a banner year for merchandise and root beer sales. Revenue generated from admissions and sales go directly to support the Museum’s mission of education through the lens of Dorothy Molter’s life – 100 percent.
Additionally, when we encountered two, major structural projects required in the Winter and Point Cabins, our supporters helped us raise the funds needed to begin the work during Give to the Max Day on November 15! Stay tuned for updates.
Now, we are cozy in the basement office of the Interpretive Center planning next year’s budget, which we hope will allow us to offer more events, promote the Museum to more diverse audiences, and more quality, interpretive programming. Warm thoughts,
The DMM Team
